No more ripples

Whence cometh I?

In a plainsong chant

Caught on a cloud

That brought me here

And I signed it with my blood

To leave behind

No more ripples

Than a stone makes

On the surface

… … …Of a pond

No regrets, no memories

Unused and unfiltered

To have lived a life

Extreme, yet largely unnoticed

To have probed the

Very edges of existence

… … … and yet

Remained humble

To never have willingly

Lorded it over another

Always to offer a choice

And never to force

To have sought

To have found

And in the finding

To renounce all

… … …That binds

To soar singular

Where no one dares

Unheard and unheeded

To plumb the depths

… … … Of mystery

To point as prow

Into consciousness

To climb the cosmic ladder

And sing my song

And to Ganesh

In the stellar Kush

Whence goeth I?

In a plainsong chant

Caught on a cloud

That takes me there

And I sign it with my blood
