Green “Haiku”

winds in the willow

and wet green grass

piling logs in a shed

a commuter in the lane

making waves

rain gathering at a platform

at last some colour

after the dazzling white

black crows in a field

damp as a sponge

the limpid lawn

can drink no more!

dawn’s light treads soft

on verdant horizons

the world is dripping
