Re: Possible visit to Bodh Gaya

Greetings,

I am writing to you about a possible visit to Bodh Gaya and the possibility of staying in one of your guest rooms.

A few nights ago, on the night after my birthday, I had a dream in which I was shown a map. In the dream I looked closely at the map and it “zoomed in” on the Mahabodhi tree in Bodh Gaya.  I was later visiting Bodh Gaya and sitting under the Mahabodhi tree.

I had never seen images of this before. Yet a brief search on the internet showed me that my dream was consistent with reality. The rest of the dream had themes of pilgrimage in it. So I have begun to look into the possibility.

A few years back I looked into visiting Bhutan and got very close to going but finances at the time were prohibitive. Bhutan and Wales (my nationality) are the only countries with dragon flags.

I have been practicing meditation for many years now and have been living in a western style of semi-retreat for over six years. That time is drawing to a close and I am trying to figure out what I am supposed to be doing with the rest of this incarnation.

I wonder if a week or so of retreat might help me find some answers. I am not striving for this, you understand; rather new experience often somehow points the way.

Please let me know what the protocol is for trying to arrange a visit and how I might go about this.  My email is:xxx.com

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

With all of my very best wishes,

Alan  (Taylor)
