And Then Three Came Along …

There is a British saying along the lines of, “I was waiting ages for a bus and then three of them came along at once.” Anyone who has used the bus system in London can bear witness to this.

Seems like the universe is sending many challenges our way.

Tomorrow the wife gets her biopsy, our GP is heading off on holiday soon and the oncology team at the local big hospital is not being responsive. Everything grinds to a halt here for the school holidays, half term or otherwise. The whole nation is put on hold. It is a bit strange, retro?

Last week I went to see the dentist and she gave me some antiseptic mouthwash for a gum irritation.  Since then, the situation has gotten worse, and I believe that I have a dental abscess. I already knew it was probably happening, but she would not accept it. We managed to get an appointment with the GP this afternoon and now I have some antibiotics. The dentist is on holidays for half term. I needed drugs.

I have to be functioning in these circumstances.

I keep getting this thing. Because I don’t speak much of the lingo, people don’t know if I have understood. Chances are that I have understood, possibly way better and far wider than them. The lack of feedback from me unnerves. I don’t want a cosy chat or a discussion.

I am treated a bit like a moron…very condescending…

Shit happens…

People are weird…

And then along comes three buses.

Hey-ho…
