Not Running About Like a Nutter

It is strange. Today for the first time in quite a long while I am not running about like a nutter. It has been surprisingly hectic doing hospital visits, pharmacy visits, cooking, washing, cleaning and setting up various other appointments. I am not sure what to do with myself.

It was on the 21st of November that I drove the wife to A&E because she was struggling to breathe. Today we did a short walk around Palacret. I get to be oxygen caddy in that I carry the oxygen concentrator especially in muddy areas. She is on a “lead”, a tube providing oxygen.

The disease looks to be in remission and the wife is moving in a more normal fashion. Though she needs oxygen when exercising like walking. It looks like the pain levels are now back to sensible levels for the time being and she can dress herself and do normal-ish things again. We are nearing the end of the first 28-day cycle and she is off the 300 quid pills for a week. She has been very ill for about three months. It looks more managed today.

It seems a long time ago, October, when they first mooted bone cancer-sarcoma.

I feel that I should somehow be running about like a nutter, but I am not…weird.
